Every Cayrunner piece is designed to be lived in — but proper care makes all the difference in how long it lasts. Washing your tees and hoodies the right way helps protect the print, so your designs stay sharp, vibrant, and crack-free instead of fading or peeling after a few cycles.
Quick care tips:
- Machine wash cold, inside-out, gentle cycle with mild detergent and similar colors. Use non-chlorine bleach, only when necessary. No fabric softeners.
- Tumble dry low, or hang-dry for longest life.
- Cool iron inside-out if necessary. Avoid ironing directly on the print.
- Wash with similar colors to prevent fading.
- Do not dry clean.

Fabric composition & weight - Short sleeve t-shirts
This T-shirt is made using soft Airlume combed and ring-spun cotton, with the exact fabric blend varying slightly depending on the color you choose.
Solid colors are made from 100% Airlume combed and ring-spun cotton, offering a smooth, soft feel and comfortable everyday wear. Ash is made from 99% combed and ring-spun cotton with 1% polyester, while Heather colors use a blend of 52% combed and ring-spun cotton and 48% polyester for a slightly different texture and appearance.
Athletic Heather and Black Heather are made from 90% combed and ring-spun cotton and 10% polyester, combining the softness of cotton with a small amount of polyester for added structure. Heather Prism colors are made from 99% combed and ring-spun cotton and 1% polyester.
Across all color options, the fabric has a lightweight feel with a weight of 4.2 oz./yd.² (142 g/m²), making it comfortable, breathable, and well suited to everyday wear.

Most colors are made from 50% pre-shrunk cotton and 50% polyester. The pre-shrunk cotton helps reduce changes in size after washing, while the polyester adds durability, helps the fabric hold its shape, and contributes to a smooth, comfortable feel.
The Heather Sport Dark Navy color uses a slightly different blend of 40% cotton and 60% polyester, giving it a higher polyester content while still retaining the softness and familiarity of cotton.
The fabric has a substantial midweight feel at 8.0 oz./yd.² (271.25 g/m²). This heavier construction makes it well suited to cooler weather, layering, and everyday wear when you want more warmth and structure than a lightweight T-shirt.
